How I Can Help

Feeding challenges can feel overwhelming, especially in the early days. At Day One Midwife, I offer gentle tongue-tie care in your own home, helping you make sense of what is happening and feel more confident moving forward.

Each visit includes:

• Pre-appointment information, including a written guide to help you feel prepared
• Talking through your baby’s feeding history and your feeding goals
• A full, evidence based assessment of tongue function, with clear explanation of findings
• A discussion of all available treatment options to support informed decision making
• Same day tongue-tie division, where appropriate and safe
• Support with feeding straight after the procedure
• Post-appointment aftercare guidance, including written information to support you at home
• A small toy to encourage tongue movement and help reduce the risk of reattachment, subject to availability
• Weighing your baby
• Follow-up support by phone, WhatsApp or text following your appointment

Your home is a familiar and reassuring setting that can help care feel calmer and more manageable for both you and your baby. As a qualified midwife working in both the NHS and private practice, I bring current, hands on experience to every visit, with flexible appointment availability including evenings and weekends.

Book Your Home Visit

You can use the calendar to see live availability and book your preferred home visit arrival window without delay.

Appointments are offered within an arrival window rather than at a fixed time. On the day, I’ll message with around 60 minutes’ notice before I arrive, meaning you don't need to wait in.

If you’d prefer not to use the calendar, you’re very welcome to get in touch here and I’ll be glad to help.
