Payment to secure your appointment

Due to the urgency many families experience when seeking feeding support, diary availability can change quickly.

Your selected slot will therefore remain visible on the live calendar until the £100 booking fee has been received.

To finalise your booking and remove the slot from current availability, payment is kindly requested within 4 hours. If payment is not received within this time, the slot may need to be released to another family.

Your home visit includes a comprehensive tongue-tie assessment, with same day treatment where clinically appropriate. The total cost is up to £225.

£100 booking fee

Payable to secure your appointment and includes:

• Home visit
• Full assessment
• Diagnosis and discussion of findings
• Discussion of treatment options
• Feeding support

£125 procedure fee

Only payable if frenulotomy proceeds on the day and includes:

• Tongue tie division procedure
• Immediate post procedure feeding support
• Oral exercise toy to aid recovery
• Follow up telephone support

If frenulotomy does not go ahead, no further fee is charged beyond the booking fee.

On the day I will message you with around 60 minutes’ notice of my arrival, so there is no need to wait in.

To support a thorough assessment, please avoid feeding your baby during the hour before I arrive. If treatment goes ahead, a feed can then be used to comfort your baby straight afterwards.

Assessment is completed with your baby positioned comfortably on my lap. If treatment proceeds, this is ideally carried out on a clear, firm surface such as a dining table or worktop.
